In the coming decades, warfare will no longer be between soldiers, but between humans and autonomous machines. These systems will not feel fear. They will not hesitate. They will not show mercy unless we program them to do so.
And right now, they are not being programmed to stop.
The truth is:
- Autonomous drones are being tested with live fire.
- Recognition of surrender is not a required feature.
- Some systems are not supervised by humans once deployed.
- Communication windows to send "I surrender" signals are not guaranteed.
- Governments and corporations deny responsibility by blaming each other.
Even worse:
- Fuel cell technologies (like SOFC) capable of powering these machines endlessly exist but are hidden from public access.
- Ethics teams are silenced. Whistleblowers ignored.
- Geneva Conventions have not yet been updated to regulate AI warfare.
This is why the HF-SIGNAL-01 protocol exists.
It is not a weapon. It is a line of protection.
A universal language — visual, thermal, acoustic, and digital — that must be read by every machine.
If a robot cannot recognize surrender, it must not be used.
And if the manufacturers refuse to implement these signals?
Then they must be held accountable.
Let the world see what they are not telling us.
Let mercy be written into the code.
